The ever-so-popular Peppermint Swirl Dress PDF Pattern

has been used many, many times to create
the most amazing frocks every child will remember forever. However, sometimes you just want to match up some awesomeness with a nice top or shirt.

My friend and very talented seamstress Bec came up with an amazing way to add a beautiful flat front waistband to the skirt portion of the Peppermint Swirl Dress. We owe her a very big thank you!
Now we all get to create these skirts; perhaps even for

ourselves?

The tutorial will allow you to create a skirt using the measurements of the recipient, so it will be a perfect fit every time. For children’s sizes, printable pattern pieces are also included, if you would prefer to use those.

You will need to use the pattern pieces of either:

• the Peppermint Swirl Dress PDF Pattern for kids, or
• the Peppermint Swirl Dress PDF Pattern for Adults

The pattern pieces for the skirt flounces are not included; this tutorial only covers how to create and add the waistband.

This tutorial now comes with printable pattern pieces for kids, and a method to create a custom waistband for any and every size.
