This pattern was designed to be a blank canvas for your creativity. It is a basic shape that allows for a variety of embellishments and the use of your prettiest trims.
Or use very bright and colourful fabrics that are a statement on their own.
The dress falls approximately to or just below the knee, offering a slender A-line silhouette with playful ties that lace on the side.
Because the bodice consists of multiple pieces in a fun wrap style, you can choose to use different matching or contrasting fabrics for the many pattern pieces.
Recommended materials for this dress: woven or knit; mix and match fabrics to your imagination!
This dress can be made in woven fabric such as quilter’s cotton, corduroy, lightweight denim, but it also offers so much comfort when made in knit fabric, such as interlock, jersey, or even fleece for a cute fall dress.

Shelley: "The Bubblegum was my first dress. I choose this pattern because I have always loved the wrap around style plus it's adjustable and can grow with her. As I was looking for a pattern, I came across the Bubblegum pattern and I kept going back to it. I liked the fact it had so many add-on's to change the look. I was a little scared since this would be my first dress, but as soon as I read the instructions, the encouraging words of Candy Castle gave me confidence. When I started the dress I knew it was going to go smoothly. I love the bias tape option, which is another way to make it unique. Thank you Candy Castle I learned so much! Your pattern was well written and flowed easily."
