These trendy pants are fast to sew and can be sewn in a variety of different knits to achieve the right garment for every season of the year.

This super versatile and timeless pattern comes in such a huge size range, from 6m through 12y, that you will be absolutely certain to always have a go-to pants pattern as a staple in every child’s wardrobe.

Inset pockets or classic patch pockets completely change up the look, and the back pockets are the perfect finish for professional-looking pants. Or, you can forget about all pockets and sew up the fastest pants in just an hour.

A faux drawstring has been added for aesthetic purposes, but you can also use the instructions to create a functional drawstring when you can’t accurately measure the recipient or to accommodate for growth.

The pockets are a great way to use up your prettiest scraps!

While this pattern and tutorial is aimed at beginner sewists, a chapter with hacks has been added to offer challenges for more experienced sewists. Think of adding knee patches, sewing up biker pants, contrast pockets, and slashed pants!

Sizes 6m through 2y have extra room for diapers and are suitable for cloth diapers too.

Basic sewing skills are all you need to create professional-looking joggers. Tips and tricks for sewing with knits are included in the pattern. You do not need a serger to create these pants.

This download contains:
1. Your PDF Pattern, with instructions and printable pattern pieces that can be printed on your home printer.
2. An A0 copyshop file (poster size). You can use this to have your pattern professionally printed at a copyshop.
3. A layered projector file. You can use this file if you own a digital projector that can project the pattern pieces on a flat surface (i.e. directly onto the fabric).

This pdf pattern contains layers. PDF Layers allow you to turn on and off pattern pieces, grouped per size. This way, you can choose to print one or more sizes you want to print, instead of having to print them all by default.
